-In Finnish education there are 4 important bases: quality,
equality, efficiency, internationalization.
Prosperity, competitiveness, security are the result of good
education.-
-The
hard things to change is culture. How can I try to change my counter's culture
to be like Finnish education.
Some skills that I have learnt in this program ,
collaboration, Team group work, personalization, flexibility of change.
Human being have learnt
from childhood until the death.
The great mouthed that I have learnt is as " guidance"
There are a lot of things
we have to do them to get what the Finnish has gotten. For instance, there are mismatch between job and training. Also,
we have missed dialog, good curriculum, and good education system. We have to set and draw the road map to our education. I hope that we
can bring some a new ideas to be apply there.
Hello,
ReplyDeletenext week when you start your shadowing session, you'll notice that even here we still have too much hierarchical teaching, where the teacher does all the talking, but we are taking steps towards more collaborative education, and the general atmosphere in the society is for that change. Learning culture changes slowly, but it changes! And we teachers have an important role in the grass roots!

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI'll start with an apology: I didn't notice that you have posted all these entries, because every time I came here to check, I only saw your old entry on top. It wasn't till today that I started scrolling down and found all the texts you had submitted!
The idea of a blog is that always the newest entry is on top. You have "manipulated" the order by posting your old notes in random order, or by deliberately choosing dates so that newer posts are on the bottom. I agree that if you want to read this journal afterwards, it's easier, if the posts are "oldest first". During the process, however, the order where the newest is on top, is a good one. That way your readers always see by a glance, what is new.
I'll read and comment your posts shortly, stay tuned!
