هذه قبله على جبين كل واحد منكم ,,,,,

اخي الكريم , والله ان اللسان ليعجز عن  ترجمة  مافي القلب  ومافي الخاطر تجاهكم , فقد كنتم خير اخوة في بلد الغربة , وخير رفيق لمن اتى من بعيد , وخير مساعد لمن قدما تاعب , فلكم الحمد ولكم الشكر  ولكم الثناء .

صديقي الغالي , اتيت لهذه البلد وانا اعاني من ظلمات ثلاث , ظلمة البلد الغريب , وظلمة  الزملاء الجدد , وظلمة العمل المناط بنا,,,,ولله الحمد والمنة فقد أضأتوا لي كل هذه الظلامات , فانقلبت كل تلك الظلمات الي أضاءت... افلا يحق لي ان افخر بكم , وان اقدم لكل واحد منكم ايها الكرماء  باقة  من الدعوات  بان يحفظكم وان يسدد خطاكم وان يرزقكم خيرا من ما تتمنوا ...

عزيزي  , لقد اثريتمونا بعلمكم ومداخلاتكم  القيمة, فقد عكستم مايجب ان نكون عليه من همة وعمل وتفاني , فالف شكر.

زميلي وحبيبي الغالي , الا تعتقد ان أي ثقافتين تلتقيان لأول وهلة لا بد ان يكون بينهما تعارض؟ ,وبعد برهه من الزمان تجد ان الاثنين قد تألفا وتأقلموا واستطاعوا ان يتعايشوا  كما لم يكن ما بينهما من اختلاف ,..لذلك اعترف بتقصيري الشديد اتجاهك , فقد اخطأت في حقك كثير من نقد او ردة فعل او سوء فهم  او تصرف طائش او ... او ... , فهل تغفر لأخيك ما بدر منه ؟ ..فقد غفرنا لأناس ليسوا على ديانتنا وليسوا من بلادنا , الا تغفر لأخ اتى اليك  يطلب عفوك ويطلبك ان تحلله ؟ ..اتمنى ذلك

Special Needs

Week 11

They want to learn and get a good education, to get some skills to work, to get some knowledge to be independent, and to get some and some. In fact, there are some of our social friends and people live with us, eat the same meal that we eat, and like to build a new life like us. However, maybe because our  emotion very strong, so, we treat them like incapable.

 I think you know them. Yes, there are " special needs" . we should give them a chance to get what they want to get( of course depend in their case). Actually,  I learnt a lot of concepts that will help me to deal with this category in our life and teaching.

Acording to Omnia webside " Omnia, The Joint Authority of Education in Espoo Region is a multisector joint authority of education offering vocational training at 10 locations around Espoo area. Omnia's affiliated municipalities comprise Espoo, Kirkkonummi andKauniainen Omniaoffers vocational training to young people and adults who have completed comprehensive school or have passed the matriculation examination. The rangeincludes twenty vocational qualifications, dozens of vocational and special vocational qualifications, extension and career training, apprenticeship training and youth workshops."

It was a great day when we visit this place. All my colleagues impressed by this kind of way to teaching. They use the mobile devices and smart devices to help student and improve their skills. They gave us some good application that they  use in their classes. I'll try to implement some of these programs to my class when  I go home.  

Teaching Practice

 Week 10


4th June 2012

From the first meeting, she was with us. She has helped all my colleagues. Any questions about any things that can she answer them, she hasn't been hesitant. Helpful ,friendly, knowledgeable, these words are the minimum words can be showed about her. I think, you know her? Isn't it?

 when we "as the First Engineering Group "  decided to do the "teaching practice", we chose  the easy topic " power point". In Tuesday, in the counseling meeting, we discussed with her about next week and what we'll  present. She listened to our opinions all of us individually. Then she suggested another idea related to our topic. She stood up, went to the computer,  showed us some  applications in the computer that will  help us when we go  back to our country.  She presented " slideshare" and " knovio  " applications that  help presenter to use voice and slides together. In fact, she pushed us to present something new and helpful. We learnt and got some practices in that weekend. We tried to be in excellent job, because our target was two things.

 First, to achieve  our "teaching practice " well. Then, to present to  our colleagues something new and helpful. We sent whole that weekend to prepare for this session.  I think, we did well.
Finally, all my colleagues thanked us about this kind of application, and we thanked Mrs Irmeli.

Haaga-Helia campus in Porvoo

 Haaga-Helia campus in Porvoo

In this week, I faced a very interesting trip to the Haaga-Helia campus in Porvoo. we arrived to the beautiful campus of Porvoo. The structure of the campus is an open space and amassing design. The idea behind this design is to be more comfortable and more attractive for the students. The campus may provide a very lovely and warm place for learning. Learning processing in Porvoo comes from Fun.

The teachers in Porvoo don't have private offices. There are open area that is divided to 4 sections. Every section has certain role. For example, there is  section for café , and also for reading.

-In Finnish education there are 4 important bases: quality, equality, efficiency, internationalization.

Prosperity, competitiveness, security are the result of good education.-

-The hard things to change is culture. How can I try to change my counter's culture to be like Finnish education.

Some skills that I have learnt in this program , collaboration, Team group work, personalization, flexibility of change.

Human being   have  learnt  from childhood until  the death.

The great mouthed that I have learnt is  as " guidance"

There are a lot of things  we have to do them to get what the Finnish has gotten. For instance,  there are mismatch between job and training. Also, we have missed dialog, good curriculum, and good education system.   We have to set and draw  the road map to our education. I hope that we can bring some a new ideas to be apply there.  

First Shadowing

First Session Shadowing

Introduction:

        We visited Metropolia University of Applied Science in an electrical course at noon in the 17th of April 2012. The members of our group are Othman Fallatah, Khalid Alfaris and I Nawaf Almzaini, Othman Amin.   Then we went to classroom where the session was held. We didn't have enough time to meet the teacher before the session started because he came five minutes late. It was a computer based electrical engineering lab. Unfortunately, the subject for this class was project, so, there weren’t regular lecture.That means, the attend for the students weren’t obligatory. The teacher started directly with explaining some electrical designing code. He wasn’t introduction in the beginning of the session. The outcomes of the subject were unclear to our group the beginning since it wasn't clear to us what the lesson is. We tried to figure everything out, but there was only some explanation for a code of an electrical design about 35 minutes. After that, he finished and asked the students to complete their work. So it seemed to us in the beginning that the session was typically a social.

     In fact, the lab is well organized and has almost all the technological and learning materials the teacher and students may need.

      After having enough time discussing the session's documentation with the professor, I noticed that he prepared well for the course in general. One of the things I liked about it is the grading system he used to evaluate each student.

      The students have a project to accomplish by the end of the semester. They work as group of four students. There will be a grade of 40 for the group when they finish. So each student will have a grade of 10 if they get the full mark. But if one of them doesn't work or help the group at all they have to tell the professor before the grading takes place, so they would not lose the grade of the fourth member. But instead the full grade would by divided by three.

     I want to add important notes. We surprised when we see lady that translated to special needs.    

   In general I have enjoyed the shadowing session and I think  it’s not far from what we are doing in my home.
